Department Goal
To deliver accessible, equitable, and quality health services that improve the well-being of all residents in Kole District, with a focus on prevention, responsiveness, and community engagement.

Department Executive Functions
Supervise and coordinate health sector activities in line with national health policies and district development priorities.
Ensure effective delivery of essential health services across all levels of care, including Health Centre IIs, IIIs, and IVs.
Monitor health facility performance, staffing, and infrastructure development.
Promote public health awareness and disease prevention through community outreach and health education.
Strengthen health information systems for evidence-based planning and reporting.

Core Services Offered
Primary Health Care Delivery: Provision of outpatient, maternal, child health, and immunization services.
Disease Surveillance & Control: Monitoring and response to communicable and non-communicable diseases.
Health Infrastructure Development: Construction and rehabilitation of health facilities, staff accommodation, and sanitation units.
Human Resource Management: Recruitment, deployment, and appraisal of health workers in coordination with the District Service Commission.
Health Education & Promotion: Community sensitization on hygiene, nutrition, reproductive health, and epidemic preparedness.
Data Management & Reporting: Collection and analysis of health indicators to inform planning and improve service delivery.
