Department Goal
To enhance the management and accountability of Kole District’s financial resources, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and alignment with service delivery standards.

Department Executive Functions
Supervise and coordinate departmental activities in accordance with the Local Governments Financial and Accounting Regulations (LGFAR).
Oversee the identification and collection of sufficient revenue to support effective service delivery across sectors.
Promote financial accountability through timely preparation and submission of statutory financial reports in line with the Financial and Accounting Regulations (FAR).
Facilitate sustainable district economic growth by ensuring equitable funding for priority sectors.

Revenue Mobilization: Collection of local revenues and allocation to departments based on approved work plans.
Financial Advisory: Provision of technical financial guidance to the District Council and its committees.
Budget Support: Coordination of financial planning, budget execution, and reporting across departments.
Compliance Assurance: Monitoring adherence to financial regulations and supporting internal audit processes.
